 Chief Retires

Yuma County Adult Probation Chief Probation Officer Marty Krizay retired from the Department in November 2008 after 16 years of service and nearly 30 years total in probation.    Deputy Chief Steve Hardy is currently the Acting Chief Probation Officer until a replacement is found.

   In April of 2008, the Yuma County Adult Drug Court Program celebrated its' 10 year Anniversary.  Since the inception of the program, over 732 participants have received services.  Yuma County has the third largest Adult Drug Court Program in the state and has a 65% graduation rate.

Congrats the Yuma County Adult Probation annual Employee of the Year Award winners.  Bob Johnson (Supervisor of the Year), Crystal Smith (Probation Officer of the Year), and Kim Miranda (Employee of the Year, None-PO)
